SEO professionals looking for comprehensive solutions to enhance their efforts' efficiency choose Mangools to streamline their workflows.

SEO professionals looking for comprehensive solutions to enhance their efforts’ efficiency choose Mangools to streamline their workflows. This platform stands out for its handy features and advanced functionality. It serves as an alternative to paid SEO services like Ahrefs. In this guide, we will analyze the key upsides and downsides of using the tools available on Mangools and provide a comprehensive overview of its capabilities to help users make an informed choice.

What Is Mangools?

Mangools is a pro-level service that lets registered members access a centralized dashboard with advanced SEO tools. Those who paid for the Premium subscription or the Agency version can get a specific number of SERP lookups, tracked keywords, and backlink rows per day or per month.

Users can utilize 5 applications:

  1. KWFinder
  2. SERPChecker
  3. SERPWatcher
  4. LinkMiner
  5. SiteProfiler

Moreover, the platform lets users access a detailed SEO guide for beginners. The Knowledge section of the website also contains information about keyword research, on-page SEO, and other related topics. The service was created for those looking for an easy way to optimize their content and increase the efficiency of their marketing efforts.

Main Features Available on Mangools

After signing up on the platform and accessing the dashboard, a user can explore the key functionalities of the service. Below, we have briefly outlined what makes each app unique.

KWFinder

Members get access to keyword research features allowing them to analyze each keyword in terms of CRC, search volume, and other parameters. You just need to type any keyword you want to check and see detailed information about it.

It will allow you to see related keywords that you can use to promote your blog. Most suggestions offered by KWFinder are quite useful. Unlike other services, it does not offer variations of a single keyword but provides a list of search words that may be of interest to your target clients. You will see plenty of related terms to choose from.

This service generates unique keywords, making it different from other tools that simply add words to a keyword provided by a user or utilize pointless autocomplete suggestions.

The key selling point of KWFinder is that it often generates “lateral” keywords. As an SEO professional, I value them because they allow me to focus on topics I might have overlooked otherwise. Moreover, your competitors may fail to recognize the importance of these keywords.

Nonetheless, while KWFinder generates plenty of excellent keyword ideas, it does not offer as many suggestions as its widely used alternatives, Ahrefs and SEMrush.

Furthermore, we analyzed top-level keyword services and discovered that KWFinder generates fewer keyword suggestions than all other top tools we reviewed.

Despite this limitation, KWFinder still allows users to discover some high-quality keywords for their projects. It also empowers users to search for keywords by domain. If you decide to test this option, you will get an overview of keywords that increase the site’s visibility on Google.

You will find this feature in most other services with keyword research tools. Make sure to use it, as it’s an excellent option for those who want to analyze their competitors and come up with new keyword ideas.

KWFinder has a well-thought-out interface, so you will quickly find the features you need to use. You will see a SERP analysis for every keyword. It’s possible to sort the list using various parameters.

Below your site’s URL, you will see the sites of your competitors. Be sure to analyze them to make your efforts more effective. All in all, I believe that KWFinder is a great option to consider. Similar to  Moz Pro and Ahrefs, it has decent keyword research features.

SERPChecker

Analyzing keyword difficulty is easy using SERPChecker. This tool allows users to get an in-depth analysis of the SERPs for a specific keyword. While there are plenty of services that display a keyword difficulty score, only some of them allow users to see detailed information on every page ranked for a certain keyword.

It lets you see the following parameters for each page:

  • Domain authority;
  • Page authority;
  • Citation flow;
  • Trust flow;
  • A number of external backlinks;
  • Facebook shares;
  • Website popularity rank;
  • Number of referring domains and IP addresses.

Using these metrics, you can check how many pages are displayed on the first page of Google’s search results. If there are many ads, videos, and other SERP features on the first page, it may be daunting to promote your site organically.

You may also open the Snapshot tab to preview the first page results for a certain keyword.

This service has a convenient UI, allowing users to switch between the SERP information and its actual visualization. While you can always research keywords in one browser tab and keep the other open, it’s less convenient.

You can also paste your site’s URL into the “Compare” field to see how its performance compares to other platforms.

It will allow you to add your site’s metrics to the comparison table to see what parameters you need to improve to get featured on the first page of Google search results.

SERPChecker is an excellent choice for those who want to analyze their competitors. However, this feature is hardly suitable for selecting the best keywords from the list.

SERPWatcher

When using the built-in rank tracker tool, be sure to enter the domain name to get a list of keyword ideas to track.

When configuring tracking parameters, you can choose between keywords for desktop and mobile devices. The tool is similar to the alternatives available online.

Click the “+” icon to add a keyword to a tracked list. After selecting suitable keywords, start tracking them by pressing the button below.

This feature allows you to track keyword ranking and make the necessary adjustments to achieve better optimization.

LinkMiner

While more advanced services like SEMrush have their link index, Mangools does not have similar features. However, it has an in-built backlink analysis tool that allows users to obtain accurate link data.

This service allows you to see a list of backlinks to your domain or site’s pages. You can sort the list using such parameters as Citation Flow, Trust Flow, Number of external links from a page, Facebook shares, Website popularity rank, and others.

Clicking every link allows you to display the site preview on the right.

You will see a small snapshot of the page, which will make it easier for you to understand why a site refers to you and where it posted a link. Mangools provides trustworthy metrics, enabling users to analyze their site’s backlink profile with ease.

SiteProfiler

Finally, the integrated site explorer tool enables you to see a detailed breakdown of SEO metrics. You just need to enter a domain’s name to display a complete overview.

This feature allows users to visualize essential metrics to see them on a single page. While I do not fully understand whether it helps users optimize their routines, it may come in handy for those who want to see their top-performing content. After using this feature several times, I concluded that it hardly adds any value to the platform.

Mangools Browser Extension

Like other services, Mangools offers handy browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox. Premium members can utilize them to analyze link authority and research backlinks.

Such add-ons are especially useful when you discover an interesting site in your niche and want to see its metrics immediately without opening Mangools.

Most similar SEO services also have browser extensions. However, Mangools is more affordable, making it an excellent choice for those who want to analyze their competitors without wasting time and money.

Mangools Pricing

Mangools pricing plans range from $49 to $129 per month. However, if you opt for an annual subscription, you can use the service for $29.90-$89.90 per month. Every plan includes the same features, but the usage limits are different.

The service has the Basic version, but its functionality is hardly satisfying, as it includes only 100 keyword lookups per 24 hours and allows users to get only 200 keyword suggestions.

Like other versions, the Basic subscription allows users to track an unlimited number of domains. Nonetheless, unlike Premium and Agency versions that display an unlimited number of competitor keywords per search, it enables clients to see only 25 such keywords. It’s suitable only for personal use and does not enable users to pay for any extra seats. You can perform up to 20 site lookups per 24 hours and display 100,000 backlink rows.

The Premium version offers the best value for the money, as it’s much cheaper than the Agency version and includes unlimited keyword suggestions. You can also analyze competitors without any restrictions. It’s suitable for small teams, allowing you to utilize this service from 3 extra devices.

If you have one site or blog, the Basic version will suffice. However, business owners or those who manage several sites may need to choose between the Premium and Agency plans.

Mangools is more affordable than Ahrefs, as it will cost you $129-$449 per month to access the latter. While SEMrush pricing ranges from $139.95 for Pro users to $499.95 for Business users, Mangools may seem like a more budget-friendly option. However, if you are interested in professional tools, you may need to take a closer look at its alternatives, as Mangools does not allow users to access advanced metrics.

Pros and Cons of Mangools

When using Mangools, I analyzed its main features to decide whether this service was suitable for my needs. Here are its key benefits:

  • Streamlined functionality: Mangools has a well-thought-out UI. All buttons are easy to read, and each metric is accompanied by an explanation. You can quickly find any option you need to use.
  • Helpful customer support: Mangools has a live chat, allowing users to quickly receive replies to their questions. You may ask the team to clarify how to use specific tools or explain how certain metrics are calculated.
  • Affordable price: At a discount price of $44.90 for the Premium plan when paid monthly on an annual basis, Mangools offers excellent value for the money. Similar to Majestic SEO, it allows you to access a link index but is twice as cheap and has an excellent UI.
  • Useful features: Mangools has plenty of keyword research tools. I like its Website Preview Feature a lot.

Despite some obvious advantages, Mangools still requires improvement in some areas. It has several notable shortcomings:

  • No integration between apps: The in-built tools open in separate tabs. It makes Mangools less convenient to use than Ahrefs, where all features are integrated perfectly and users can perform multiple tasks with one click.
  • Inconvenient dashboard: It’s impossible to see a list of all the sites you manage in one place and personalize the layout to your liking. In contrast, Ahrefs has a dashboard that is easier to navigate.
  • Limited choice of features: While Ahrefs has a handy tool allowing users to discover content that is shared often, Mangools does not have a similar feature. It also lacks the SEO site audit tool and tools for managing PPC campaigns available in SEMrush.

Even though Mangools has some limitations, it’s still a great solution for budget-conscious bloggers looking for an easy way to promote their websites.

Final Thoughts

The final decision on whether to use Mangools depends on your preferences, budget, and needs. If you are into blogging and need to occasionally use SEO tools to achieve higher visibility online, you may not have a lot of money to spend. In this case, opt for Mangools, as it offers great value for the money. This service allows users to utilize handy tools to research keywords and analyze backlinks.

While Mangools lacks the pro-grade tools available in Ahrefs or SEMrush, its Premium version is still suitable for many tasks. If you are interested in more advanced features, it may be a smart idea to invest in dedicated solutions designed for professional use. Mangools is a great choice for those who are on a tight budget, whereas Ahrefs and SEMrush have more tools for working on complex projects.
